  • Teaching Responsibilities: Harvesting Applications, Surveying, Forest Roads, Environmental Law, Timber Tax and Estate Planning.
  • Research Interests: applicability of cut-to-length harvesting systems for thinning Southern pine plantations, productivity and costs. Water quality/sediment export due to forest roads and stream crossing. Timber harvesting contract rate calculations based on site variables and harvesting equipment, and estate planning techniques to reduce gift and estate taxes for forest landowners.
